History of ACDC
The ABE Cubao Dance Company (ACDC) is build almost one and a half years ago to this date (March 2013) and was headed by Mr. Roldan Bonifacio, a Physical Education Teacher at ABE International Business College - Cubao Campus. He chose to appoint a student to help him to his job as the head adviser of ACDC. That student is Jona Ruiz, the appointed person to became the President of ACDC since June 2012.
Jona is the former Vice President of Bachelors of Information Technology Society (BITS) batch of 2011 to 2012 and almost became the President of the said organization. But unfortunately, he failed to pass one of his subjects so he's not allowed to become the president of BITS because one of the rules of BITS, each officers should retain his/her grades as high as possible and shouldn't fail any of his/her subjects.
But Jona has the potential when it becomes to leadership and Mr. Bonifacio noticed that so he decided to appoint Jona to become the president of his non-academic organization (ACDC).
After four months of Jona's leadership, Mr. Bonifacio leaves the ABE Cubao and had transferred to another branch of ABE, particularly in ABE Cainta. Before Mr. Bonifacio left, he told Jona to take care of the group and don't worry to become an independent group. Jona kept that words and he continue to handle Mr. Bonifacio's unfinished business.
Jona handles the group in the way he want it to be and he successfully granted he's own wish, a wish for the group to become more powerful and successful group as it can be. Now, his term is over and whether he want it or not, he should leave his position as the president just for him to have his OJT and also to focus more on his studies for Jona is now turning 4th year student this coming June 2013.
He felt nervous before for the group because he don't know who will be the next president of ACDC, but on second thought, he is just a student before who just turned to have a knowledge in leadership and he thinks that whoever will be the next newly elected president of ACDC will also be the same as he is now.
